- Turnover and burnout.
Although the webinar is geared towards awareness for manufacturers, it offers valuable takeaways on mental health for any workplace. Subject matter experts will also cover how to recognize mental health issues in employees and implement supportive tools policies and programs.
Federal Funding Extended for SCMWDP for Good Jobs Challange
OMA Approves Funding Extension
The OMA has approved reallocation of funds from a federal grant issued in 2022 known as the Good Jobs Challenge across the network of 18 manufacturing industry sector partnerships throughout Ohio.
Because the SCMWDP has demonstrated results meeting or exceeding the assigned goals and metrics, OMA has approved additional funds to continue our program. SCMWDP is fourth in the state with our peer partnerships with 108 entry level job placements and we have recorded 57 incumbent workers in upskilling and training. The additional funding allows our local Good Jobs Challenge team to continue services though the end of December 2025 instead of wrapping up the end of June of 2025.
Manufacturers interested in learning more or participating in this FREE entry level placement and training/upskilling program are encouraged to attend the April 23 meeting. A separate meeting invitation was transmitted to manufactures.
